Chali and Carla Martinez are both preacher’s kids who met at Bible School and married in 2003. Together in 2013 they founded Vital Church in McAllen, Texas, a thriving, multicultural church in deep South Texas where they serve as pastors. Chali’s unique speaking style blends passion, humor, and clarity and has made him a highly solicited international speaker. Having accepted the call to ministry at age 16, Chali has served as an itinerant preacher, singer, songwriter, evangelist, youth pastor, and now lead pastor. Carla is a certified John Maxwell coach, pastor, and the host of “In the Room with Vital Church Leadership Podcast”. Chali and Carla are the proud parents of two boys, Dante and Luca.
