Prayer is the practice of the presence of God. It is the place where pride is abandoned, hope is lifted, and supplication is made. Prayer is the place of admitting our need, of adopting humility, and claiming dependence upon God. Prayer is the exercise of faith and hope. Prayer is the privilege of touching the heart of the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Here, we pray for workers for the harvest and for new faith communities boldly proclaiming the good news of Christ. We pray for Christian leaders unashamed and unafraid to be followers of Christ in their daily life. Pray for these and add your own prayer and praise for the work of God in starting new faith communities in the UMC in Kentucky and beyond.

Mighty God, in Your mercy, hear our prayers.
